| Full description: |
Do you have a close friend or relative who has required palliative (end of life) care in the community setting?
Are you interested in research which is trying to improve the provision of palliative and end of life care?
Researchers at The Cicely Saunders Institute, King’s College London and Sussex Community NHS Trust are looking for members of the public to work with them to help develop a new palliative care service for frail older people in the community.
We are looking for people who have experience or interest in palliative care who can provide our research project with a patient and/or carer perspective on how to improve the service.
You do not need any prior experience or understanding of research as training and support will be provided. You just need to be willing to share your thoughts and experience with our team of research staff and other members of the public.
You will be required to attend meetings every 4-6 months each lasting about 2 hours
Your role will be to provide a patient and/ or carer perspective to the study
Meetings are held in West Sussex or Brighton and Hove.
