How to use the database of opportunities
The database contains details of research projects and research organizations that are looking for members of the public to get involved in their work.
Some of the research organisations are happy for people to contact them to find out more about how they can become involved, these will be highlighted as ongoing opportunities. Other entries will have specific dates.
You will notice that some entries will be suitable for people with no experience of being involved in research (beginners) whilst others will be asking for people with previous experience.
You can search the database in different ways to see if there is an opportunity that you are interested in. It might be that you would like work that you can carry out from home or that you have an interest in a specific health condition.
Each opportunity will have details of a named contact in the organisation who will be able to provide you with further information and answer your questions.
Before you make contact with an organisation you might want to have a look at our questions to ask to help you make a decision.
