We have provided some information to explain about public involvement in research and we also interviewed some people who have been involved in research to give their views and experiences.

In this short video clip, Alison Faulkner tells you what the People in Research website is about and what you can use it for.

"The People in Research website is an opportunity for researchers to post their research projects up on the website, and to hopefully find members of the public who would like to become involved in the research.  Similarly it has an opportunity for people, members of the public, yourselves maybe to search the website for those opportunities, anything you would like to get involved in, in terms of a research project, and in addition to that it offers a range of different ways that you can understand more about what involvement means.  There's some simple text and also some video clips that explain to you and show people's own experience of being involved in research and what it meant for them".
