Online/In-person 2-hour workshop with 5 public partners
We will discuss different ways of collecting data in clinical trials and your views on them. An example we might discuss is smartwatches. These informal discussions will help design a survey . No prior knowledge.
There will be two more sessions (March/Winter 2025) which you would be expected to join as part of the group. Dates for these will be discussed with group members.

£25 per hour for each session attended
Expenses:
Travel expenses on public transport (unless special requirements are needed) will be covered for Greater London only. A £5 internet connection charge will be supplied for those in the online focus group and refreshments provided for the in-person focus groups.

Our team at Imperial College Clinical Trials Unit designs and carry out clinical trials across a range of health areas. This project specifically is looking at how to design clinical trials that are easier for participants to take part in. One way of doing this might be by collecting data using technology but we need to know how the public fee about this.
