This is a single day meeting on 11th September, to improve shared decision making for emergency laparotomy in partnership with patients and professionals. These groups will be brought together to build an intervention to improve shared decision making in this setting, understand how the intervention will work and identify any uncertainties that need further research. The participants needs to have lived experience of emergency laparotomy.
