People who are overweight/obese are at increased risk of complications from surgery. We want to see if using GLP1 drugs (Mounjaro/ Wegovy) can help patients lose weight before surgery and improve outcomes.

We are looking for people who have experience of being overweight/obese who have undergone surgery, or people who are using GLP1 to lose weight and waiting for surgery. This will involve an online meeting in late October/early November, the input from which will inform research design, trial outcomes and delivery.
