Could you help us to improve the research that we are doing into Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Healthcare? Would you like to contribute to a fun and interesting research project understanding how patients and the public understand and view AI? What impact might AI have for healthcare and society?

We need YOUR help to understand issues affecting patients and the public by partnering with us to ensure the research involves issues that matter to you.

Centre for Health, Law, and Emerging Technologies (HeLEX), University of Oxford

The Centre specialises in investigating the relationships between law, ethics, and practice in the area of emerging technologies in health, and honing those relationships to facilitate effective translational outcomes. We investigate areas where new technologies are having a significant impact, such as the use big data approaches in research. We carry out interdisciplinary research using tools from law, philosophy and the social sciences with the aim of improving or guiding evolving practice.

What support is offered?

Panel members will work with the Lead Researcher throughout the project. We will support you in learning about Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare through workshops, and train you on reviewing research materials.


Honorarium for time will be offered, rates vary depending on activity. Further information available on request


Yes, travel expenses up to £60 will be offered.
