Organisation
Translational Cancer Pathology Research Group, University of Glasgow
The Translational Cancer Pathology Research Group, led by Professor Joanne Edwards, focuses on improving the outcomes of patients with bowel cancer. We study how inflammation, both in the body and around the tumour, affects how the cancer progresses. Our goal is to create new, personalised treatments for bowel cancer, tailoring care to each individual patient. Additionally, through the INCISE project, we aim to revolutionise bowel screening, improving outcomes and preventing bowel cancer.
