BHF's Big Beat Challenge needs patient and public reps to select the best research team
The Big Beat Challenge is a new £30 million award which will push the international research community to identify a real world challenge, a significant unmet need or an opportunity for game-changing innovation in heart and circulatory science or medicine.
We’re looking for patient and public representatives from the international community to help review applications.

The Big Beat Challenge is a brand new £30 million award from the British Heart Foundation for an international, multidisciplinary research team to identify and propose a transformational solution to a significant problem in heart or circulatory disease.

We will provide training on Patient and Public Involvement, background on the Big Beat Challenge and the role of the Patient and Public Panel, grant funding processes, and BHF's research.
We will cover travel and any overnight stay expenses.
Reasonable travel and any overnight stay expenses provided with receipt. We will also provide lunch and refreshments.
