C-POP Study Patient Advisory Group Membership

Recruiting for a diverse group with experience of apical prolapse to work with the C-POP Study team.

Full description:

The C-POP Study aims to find out if a trial comparing two types of surgery for apical prolapse, would be feasible in the future.
The PAG is a really important part of the study – we want to work with the group on participant documents and dissemination of findings to ensure our language and terminology is accessible to and understood by all patients.

Approx £50/hr, i.e., 90min meeting = £75; 3-4hr (half-day) meeting = £150

Expenses:

for face-to-face meetings all reasonable travel expenses will be covered, we anticipate much of the participation may be online

The C-POP Study Team

We are a study team, led by researchers at the University of Birmingham, in collaboration with colleagues at University of Exeter, Glasgow Caledonian University, University of West of Scotland, and NHS Trusts in Birmingham and Plymouth.

The C-POP study itself was also designed in collaboration with other members of the team who are Patient Advocates, with their own lived experience, and the PPI lead for Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.
