To help families access help at an early stage, a team of researchers from the University of Sheffield & NIHR Devices for Dignity are developing computer software to help assess memory problems at an early stage.
The project is called CognoSpeak. The computerised doctor will ask questions and then the specially developed software will work out whether the person has memory problems which might need help.
