The East-Midlands Knee Pain Multiple Randomised Controlled Trial Cohort Study

We need your help to develop a nurse-led package of care to reduce osteoarthritis knee pain.

Link to organisation:

Full description:

Osteoarthritis (OA) is a very common condition and the knee is one of the most frequently affected joints. Knee osteoarthritis results in pain, stiffness and disability. Despite being common, people with knee OA often receive no, or only fragmented treatment in primary care. The purpose of this study is to develop a nurse-led package of care for people with knee pain due to OA. To do our research we need to be able to find people over 40 with knee pain.

The study aims to support sufferers, help lead to a better understanding of their condition, and how to relieve the symptoms. The package will be responsive to and shaped by the needs of those living with knee osteoarthritis.
