Full description:

We’re inviting people affected by lung cancer to act as public members of a steering committee to help monitor, supervise and advise on two research studies.

We are looking for people with personal experience of being diagnosed with lung cancer, or of caring for someone with lung cancer, who live in Yorkshire.

Previous experience of being involved in research or being a member of a formal committee, would be beneficial.

Payment:

£100 per meeting

Expenses:

All expenses covered plus £5 remote working allowance per meeting.

What support is offered?

You will have an allocated researcher to contact for support throughout your involvement. They will be available to meet you before meetings to help you to prepare, and after meetings to discuss and reflect. They will also support you with using video-conferencing software, if you need this.
