Our research: how families and health professionals in the West Midlands can work together to help plan care for children and young people who have long-term, unpredictable or complex health conditions. We really want to hear from people like you to see how we can make/keep our research family-friendly and produce meaningful outcomes. You don’t need to have any experience or skills. You just need to be a young person, parent, carer or grandparent who wants to improve health care for children.

University of Birmingham

We are a group of researchers at the University of Birmingham along with professionals from Birmingham Children's Hospital, Acorns Children's Hospice, Child and Young Person Advanced Care Plan Collaborative Working Group. Our research; A multi-perspective qualitative study to understand the experience and impact of the Child and Young Person’s Advance Care Plan (CYPACP), is funded by Marie Curie.
