We are looking for patients who have had a hand fracture, in particular a fracture of the metacarpal bone – one of the small bones in the hand.
Did you break your hand, or have any form of treatment? If so, we would love to talk to you about your experiences of hand injury.

Centre for Evidence Based Hand Surgery

The centre was established in collaboration with the University of Nottingham, Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust and the British Society for Surgery of the Hand. It aims to collaborate with patients and the wider community of clinicians and researchers involved in hand surgery care. Our aim is to facilitate high quality patient-centred studies on common hand conditions, which address clinically important areas of uncertainty relevant to patients and the NHS.
