Full description:

A team at the University of Southampton are working with Helplines Partnership to design a study to bid for funds to conduct a series of studies to understand and help with cross sector communication challenges for providers and users of health related helplines in the UK. The team are keen to incorporate public patient involvement (PPI) in the design of the research and, if funded, in the conduct and dissemination of the research.

I am based in a primary care department at the University of Southampton. We conduct lots of health related research on topics such as antibiotics, cancer helplines, depression, asthma, as well as more. My particular research interest is focused on the ways in which healthcare communication can be understood and improved for both healthcare practitioners and service users.
