We are looking for public contributors to help improve how stepped wedge trials, a type of health research study, are designed and carried out. You will help us develop a funding application, including reviewing a plain English summary. If funded, you will have opportunities to help guide the research and advise on how the findings are communicated. Training and support will be provided.

Payment:

£27.50 per hour by voucher. Initially 3 hours in November 2026

Expenses:

Reasonable expenses will be covered, if agreed in advance. For example, additional childcare or for a carer or personal assistant. We offer a £5 contribution towards any incidental expenses incurred by attending online meetings.

This concerns work taking place in a University research setting. The International Statistics and Epidemiology Group (ISEG) work on understanding and controlling major public health problems around the world. This project will look at improving how we run some of this research.
