Join a new online patient and public involvement group to help design research on incidental findings found through genetic testing. An incidental finding is something found during a medical test that is unrelated to the original reason the test was requested. I’m seeking people with experience of medical genetic testing, incidental findings, and people with no prior experience of either. The group will meet at least twice. Please see the attached flyer for more information.

Helena is a research fellow in the Clinical Ethics, Law and Society Group at the University of Oxford and a Consultant in Clinical Genetics at Guy’s and St Thomas NHS Foundation Trust. Helena is supported through an NIHR Pre-Application Support Fund Award.
