Are you over 18 years old and have experience of using a lower limb prosthesis? We would like to talk to you about a project idea to make sure it is relevant to patients.
What is involved?
– One 1.5-hour online meeting in early January 2026 via MS Teams, with up to 5 other participants.
– Give feedback on our research idea and share experiences you feel comfortable discussing. Highlight challenges, opportunities and ideas we may have overlooked.

This study is being planned by a team of 12 researchers (including clinicians and patient partners) from different UK Universities and NHS Trusts. We are a newly formed group that has participated in the NIHR Team Science Camp (a residential workshop to develop new research ideas between various different researchers). We would like to take our idea further and apply for funding.

What support is offered?
Two patient partners are included in our team who lead PPIE and offer a variety of support required. We will book a meeting that suits everyone's availability and can be morning or evening. Any specific support or training needs can be discussed and considered in the funding application
