Researchers at the University of York are working with pharmacists and patients to find a way of discussing alcohol and medication use in local pharmacies, and to see if this works for patients with long term conditions. Do you have one or more long-term conditions that requires long term medication? Are you willing to use your patient experiences to contribute to co-design research tasks and discussions about intervention research? If so, we would like to hear from you.

CHAMP (Community pharmacy: Highlighting Alcohol use in Medication aPpointments) is a large research team supported by the NIHR. We are designing and evaluating an intervention in community pharmacies. We comprise of researchers, community pharmacists, and public and patient involvement representatives.
