Looking for lay members to support tool development of predictive health risk tool
The link between health behaviour and chronic disease is well established, however translating risk of disease based on unhealthy behaviours is difficult at an individual level.
We’re looking for a lay members to input into the development and design of the predictive tool. The tool will predict a person’s likelihood of disease based on their unhealthy behaviours. This will be integrated within GP systems and provide visuals as a way of better communicating disease risk e.g. red for high risk.

HealthLumen is a small limited company (www.healthlumen.com). We develop statistical modelling software which aims to generate evidence to quantify the future impact of interventions on non-communicable diseases when scaled across the population. Interventions include policy, prevention, screening and treatment interventions. We do this by carrying out systematic reviews, epidemiological analysis, algorithm development and software development.
