Radiotherapy is an x-ray treatment and is a key part of modern cancer treatment, used in about 70% of patients. The aim of treatment is to deliver the best dose to the tumour and to deliver as little dose as possible to the surrounding normal tissues. We are evaluating improvements in radiotherapy to see how patients may benefit and need support with the design and execution of our research, including clinical trials.
