Full description:

We are recruiting a Lived Experience Advisory Panel of up to 8 members, to include mental health service users with personal experience of antipsychotic induced hunger. The panel will be involved in reviewing research materials and co-designing a package of support to help people manage antipsychotic induced hunger. The panel will meet at least 6 times during the course of the 18-month project. ***We now particularly want to hear from young men (aged 18-45) from ethnic minority backgrounds.

What support is offered?

Advisory Panel members will be supported by the study’s Patient and Public Involvement Lead, who also has relevant lived experience. We will also encourage an ethos of peer-support amongst the group. No previous knowledge or research experience is needed, and any relevant training will be provided.

Payment:

Advisory Panel members will be paid £20 per hour for their involvement

Any expenses incurred will be fully compensated
