The research aims to examine the impact of non-clinical services on patients’ wellbeing.
Male cancer patients age 18 or above who participated in non-clinical services provided by charities meet the study’s eligibility criteria. The study involves two phases: a 30-60 minutes personal interview and a 15 minutes self-completed online survey (https://tinyurl.com/y77kboa8). Participants may choose to take part in either or both phases. Personal interviews and online surveys are planned to be completed by Jun 2018. If you would like to participate or have any questions, please contact us.

We are a research team from the University of Edinburgh Business School. We are currently conducting research to gain a greater understanding of what drives male cancer patients to participate in non-clinical cancer services (e.g. courses or support groups) provided by cancer support charities in the UK and what aspects of their well being are impacted on, or after they participate in these services.
