I am recruiting a 6 person steering group to guide a 5-year NIHR-funded research programme on maximising dementia-free years and minimising the time spent with disability. The research will include developing new methods, analysing data, understanding patient and carer experience of dementia, and communicating findings to policy/the public. The group will meet 6 monthly in-person/virtually/hybrid to be determined by the group.

Seb Walsh is a senior clinical lecturer in public health medicine at the Wolfson Institute for Population Health within Queen Mary University of London, and an honorary consultant in public health at East London NHS Foundation Trust. This 5-year research programme will be based at QMUL but will utilise national and international datasets and will have implications both within and beyond the UK.
