NIHR DIGITAL: ART OF THE POSSIBLE WORKSHOP ON 10th MAY 2017
Mappin Pavilion, London Zoo, London, NW1 4RY
9.30-5.00pm

We confirmed the need to develop a transformative pan-NIHR Digital Strategy at the NIHR Strategy Board in November. Since then, we have interviewed a number of stakeholders and found considerable appetite for using digital to accelerate delivery of life-changing treatments for patients and improve our engagement with patients, researchers, the Life Science industry and the wider NHS.

We would like to invite you to participate in a highly interactive Art of the Possible workshop on Wednesday 10th May to help develop this strategy.

The workshop, run by PA Consulting, is a chance for researchers, patients and our partners/stakeholders to develop innovative ideas for using digital to transform how we do research.

The workshop will include presentations from a number of inspiring speakers about how digital is creating transformative change in health and other industries. Our focus in not just technology but how digital can radically improve the user experience, support smarter ways of working, offer new ways to collaborate, create new insights through data analytics and deliver efficiencies through automation. We will also look at how we and others need to change to turn these opportunities into reality.

The output from the workshop will inform the Digital Strategy which we plan to present at the NIHR Strategy Board in July and then move into delivery.

Please could you email the programme lead, Caroline Pickstone, (caroline.pickstone@nihr.ac.uk) and let her know your availability at your earliest convenience.
