We are looking for people who have had an amputation to join our patient advisory group.
The Improving Psychological Preparedness for amputation surgery (Pre-Amp) study is a National Institute for Health Research funded study
The project aims to explore and improve how patients are currently prepared for amputation surgery. We are looking for four amputees to join the projects patient advisory group. This group will help to shape all aspects of the research – from the types of questions we ask, to the way we share our findings. Full support and training will be provided.

All of research
We will be offering training by the research team as well as access to any relevant courses run by De Montfort University. A buddying system will be offered within the patient advisory group.
£150 per day
We will pay for any travel required and reimburse any subsistence costs associated with any travel
