Patient representative for HORIZONS study: understanding the impact of cancer diagnosis and treatment

We are looking for patient representatives to act as Research Partners on our HORIZONS study.

Full description:

We would like to invite individuals to take up the role of Research Partner in the HORIZONS study. HORIZONS is looking at how people maintain and recover health and wellbeing following treatment for cancer. We are particularly interested in people with experience of the following gynaecological cancers: endometrial, ovarian & cervical. You will be invited to review study documents, be part of our Tumour Specific Expert Panels, and be involved in PPI and study related events.

The Macmillan Survivorship Research Group is based within the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Southampton. We are funded by Macmillan Cancer Support to conduct research into issues that affect survivors of cancer. Our research focuses on understanding recovery of health and well-being following cancer treatment and supporting self- management of cancer related problems following treatment.
