Experimental Cancer Medicine Centre (ECMC) network
The ECMC network was launched in 2007 and has had a life-time investment of over £100M from Cancer Research UK, the National Institute of Health Research in England, and the health departments for Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland since then.
The ECMC initiative supports the infrastructure needed to both deliver world-leading early phase clinical trials and to enable a network of experts to translate scientific discoveries into new cancer treatments for patients.
