Patient/public/lay contributors wanted to join the Surgical MedTech Co-operative Patient & Public Involvement Committee

Full description:

We need you to provide a public view on Surgical MIC public involvement activities to our Management Group and Steering Committee. The PPI Committee meets every three months for 2 hours and the meetings are currently held online. There is flexibility in attendance dependent on your availability.

We will send you information to read about two weeks before the meeting.  At the meeting you will be invited to share your views and comment on what you have read or heard being discussed.

The NIHR Surgical MedTech Co-operative (MIC) supports the development of new technologies in the fields of colorectal, vascular and liver, pancreas and gall bladder (hepatopancreaticobiliary/HPB) surgery, improving both healthcare and quality of life for patients. Through our nationwide network of clinicians, engineers, scientists, industry and patients, we identify new areas in need of innovation, support research to address these clinical problems, and provide a resource for MedTech.
