PIMS – Patient and public engagement and involvement in musculoskeletal research
Could you use your experience of a musculoskeletal condition to help to make research better?
Link to organisation:
PIMS is a group for adults with an interest in musculoskeletal care who would like to learn about the research being done and make it better. Whether you are a patient, carer, friend, relative or a member of the public, everyone is welcome! You don’t have to be an expert, just have experience of a musculoskeletal condition.
We are looking to expand our membership and share what we do with enthusiastic like-minded people.

We have the aim of bringing together patients and members of the public with researchers. We believe that by combining lived experience with research, there is a mutual benefit of making research more successful and relevant to the population it serves, it can be empowering for patients and members of the public while also raising interest and the profile of clinical research. Everyone is a winner!
