The EME Programme would love to hear from you if you have personal experience of liver transplant and would be interested in reviewing a recent application for us.
In particular, the research team are interested in assessing the benefits of a home-based exercise programme before and after liver transplant. We would value patient input into any potential issues and impacts of this research.
Reviewers will be paid an honorarium as a thank you for this important work.

NIHR EME Programme

The Efficacy and Mechanism Evaluation (EME) Programme funds ambitious studies evaluating interventions with potential to make a step-change in the promotion of health, treatment of disease and improvement of rehabilitation or long-term care. Within these studies, EME supports research in the mechanisms of diseases and treatments. EME is a partnership between the Medical Research Council (MRC) and the NIHR.
