Full description:

We are designing and testing an intervention which will be delivered in routine mental health appointments aiming to help people with serious mental illness reduce their smoking.

To join our PPI panel you must:
> over 18
> live in the UK
> be diagnosed with a serious mental illness
> are current or former smoker/vaper
> willing to help develop our intervention with us

The research will run until 2029 and we expect there to be up to 10 hours worth of reviewing/meeting per year.

If you are interested you will be asked to complete a short survey about your experience.

The TRIDENT study team is based at the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences at the University of Oxford.

We are part of the Oxford Tobacco Addiction Group and we undertake research to provide evidence on effective ways to prevent and treat tobacco addiction.
