Intergenerational influences on antibiotic use for coughs and colds in South Asian communities

This study looks at how individuals of different generations and families use antibiotics for coughs, colds, and chest infections within South Asian communities. We will work with service users and clinicians to understand beliefs, experiences, and everyday decision-making around antibiotics. Together, we will adapt existing NHS antibiotic guidance so that it better reflects cultural values and family roles, helping people manage infections safely.
