This study explores the economic benefits of the sugar tax and its impact on the distribution of tooth decay across social groups, ethnic groups and areas. We invite parents to join our Lay Advisory Group to support our research. Participants will have the opportunity to share their opinions or participate in activities such as interpreting and highlighting findings that are most relevant to the public, communicating results to the community, reviewing materials and assisting with translations.

Payment:
Pay rates for attendance to meetings (£25 per hour). Pay rates for activities and pre-reading materials (£25 per hour).
Expenses:
Coverage for travel costs. Mobile data plans to facilitate remote access to meetings.

Informal training will be provided based on parents’ specific support needs. Meetings (whether online or in-person) and activities will be scheduled at a convenient time for all participants. Support with childcare costs for parents with young children.
