We want to seek the views of former ICU patients to assist in the design of a new study
Muscle loss and weakness is a common problem in patients who have had a critical illness. We are currently designing a study looking at ways to improve physical function after such illnesses.
This is at the early stages of planning, but we are seeking the views of former patients and relatives on the proposed study design, in particular whether they feel that the outcomes being measured are relevant to their needs.
Opinions on the information leaflets and summaries are also sought.
