What support is offered?
We will support parents, carers and young people throughout their involvement by providing clear information about the project, what their role involves and the time commitment expected. Where needed, we will offer informal training and guidance to help them feel confident contributing to discussions about priorities and outcomes, and a named member of the research team will be available for ongoing support or questions. Contributors will also have access to peer support within the group, and we will ensure meetings are welcoming, inclusive, accessible and paced to suit different levels of experience. We will reimburse contributors for their time and data use to ensure participation is accessible and not a financial burden.
