We are looking for parents and young people aged 18–30 to advise on LION-CUB, a study based at Imperial College London. We particularly want to hear from people with no experience of paediatric intensive care (PICU). That means parents whose child has never been admitted to PICU, and young people who were never admitted themselves. Your views as someone who uses NHS services are what matter.

We’re recruiting parents and carers of children who’ve stayed in paediatric intensive care to join our advisory group for LION-CUB, an NIHR-funded Imperial College London study exploring how ethnicity, poverty, language and access to healthcare affect children’s critical care. No prior experience needed, your experience as a parent is what matters.

We especially welcome parents from diverse ethnic and language backgrounds, including those who haven’t felt research was for them before.
