During the Covid 19 pandemic, researchers at University College London (UCL) analysed movement of particles in the air in hospitals. They did this to work out how to reduce the risk of transmission of diseases like Covid 19. Beyond the pandemic, the work has relevance to reducing the spread of any disease carried by the air, such as seasonal flu or scarlet fever.

Help train the next generation of biomedical engineers
As part of their course, students here at UCL undertake projects to design engineering solutions. To improve this aspect of their work and help them garner a better understanding of the real-world challenges people face, we are seeking to reinvigorate this course by involving people who use these technologies.
This will involve in person meeting to help them understand your needs and feedback on their designs and ideas. Please express interest through this form https://forms.cloud.microsoft/e/21TdmXuDGN
